A thought

You know, if Anti-Porn guy was so loved by God, you'd think God would teach him about Run-On sentences or at least cure his acne.

Geez.

And sanitary wipes? In his ears?

Anyways, it just baffles me how people can think that. What part of "Treat others as you want to be treated" or the parts of the bible that say that God wants you to love ALL his children is he not getting?

Also, Jesus Christ preached, above all, acceptance. He never said he was the son of god or all this stuff about fearing him or hating others. He wanted love.

All this god-fearing stuff was instituted by the Christian Church and people like that in mideval times. So this guy isn't really into Christianity as much as he's into mideval ideology of us going back to the dark ages.

I say we stick the dark ages up his ass and kick him down to hell with his really lame computer picture of that.

Amen.

You'd also think God would at least give His messenger decent web design skills. I mean, I'm not asking for a fantastic layout--but Anti-Porn Guy appears to think that the bigger the font he uses, the more people will listen to him.
Amen. You know, I'm not a practicing Christian, but I do believe the basis of the teachings of Jesus was love, tolerance and peace-it's sad to see such good ideas distorted into a rhetoric of hatred and bigotry.

Also, in his time, Jesus seemed to enjoy hanging out with the underdog-like in Mary Magdalene's case. I bet you anything that a modern day Jesus would be an anarchists, most at home with those society considers 'undesirable'. And would probably lash out against those fundamenlist types, and the official Church.

After all, all the man said was 'Love each other'. He didn't say 'Love your heterosexual partner in a marriage context, and hate anybody who doesn't conform to your narrow ideals'.

When did this turn into a discussion on the nature of religion? I've no idea, but I do know there's a world of differance between faith and religious doctrines.
Amen.
